"I have yet to see what I ordered as the delivery company said they had delivered it but it hasn’t been. I phoned planters and they said they would look into it and get back to me, still not heard anything apart from this email asking for a review??? So, sadly it can’t be anything more than a one star!"

"Disappointing. I was expecting a cube, but at point of ordering, realised I was getting a flat pack. Instructions were mysterious and myopic. The nuts and bolts seem to have been thrown into a bag Willy Nilly and numerically did not correspond to the myopic instructions. It also seemed quite difficult ( by Ikea standards) And then, the one item I opened (of two) was damaged, so I decided not to open the other one. Also the liner (also unopened) seemed to be a plastic bag."

"The planters once assembled are lovely and I am pleased with my purchase of 12 units including 4 large ones. I didn’t read the small print and didn’t realise they are self assembly - once you have the knack it’s 20 mins per 400 mm square and 30 mins for the large ones- some flanges need tapping into square as they haven’t been unpacked since leaving whichever low labour country fabricated them. I may buy some more now I see them in situ. Jeremy"

"The planters look good now they're in situ, easy enough to assemble but the steel does seem quite thin for the money. So in summary I'm happy with them but think they could be 30% cheaper. Speed of delivery and packaging was excellent."

"We bought 3 of these. The instructions were poor and some of the screws supplied would not thread into the nuts. After taking an age to build the first one, the second one was built in half the time and the third one in half an hour. With better instuctions, the first could have been built in half an hour!"

"Lovely heavy planters which went together surprisingly well. The lugs all slotted easily and plenty of extra screws and bolts. Would suggest using a decent spanner though, I’d have struggled with the tool it came with. They look lovely, the cortane steel isn’t too bright but brings a splash of colour. I would recommend these."

"I ordered 2 x self assembly planters which have arrived with insufficient assembly instructions, such that I'm unable to assemble them. On contacting the company they were unable to answer any of my queries on the matter. Useless."

"Took a while to put together, but arrived quickly and now fully planted it looks stunning!"

"Picture looks amazing, flat pack Better products from other sellers that don’t need to be assembled"
