Questionable quality

"Simple enough to assemble (instructions easily found on website) and builds into quite a good looking planter. However… The base quality is substandard with boards that do not fully fit and which obviously been measured and cut very poorly. For the money charged, I would have expected much better - just seems shoddy and mediocre work"

Green wooden planter

"The colour is paler than in the pictures, a green wash as opposed to a coat of paint. Also physical strength is needed to assemble the planter and a powerful electric screwdriver. Paying extra for the liner was worth it, a perfect fit and water permeable. Now it's assembled and planted up it looks good, I just wish the green colour was a little stronger."

Good product

"The planters are really sturdy and were fairly easy to assemble (so my husband says) despite the lack of instructions. They look great too. We are glad we bought the liners though as there is a small gap all around the edge of the base. I suppose it is good for drainage but would have meant compost falling through."

— Mrs E. (5/5)

"Quality was the okay for the price. Colour was completely different to advertised- a very pale spearmint, although the feet were a darker green, I have had to repaint it! The instructions for assembly didn’t apply to the base as the feet were already attached. We have put another baton underneath as it looked like it might sag in the middle."

Handy mallet.

"I am pleased with the planters but anyone who buys them must have a good mallet to assist the build. I enjoyed doing the build and and the finish result was very satisfactory, I bought several and the one fault was the difference in the colour shade from one trough to the next."

Well made

"Absolutely love these planters. They are easy to put together and look very stylish. Only slight gripe. We were offered the casters half price when checking out. We thought this was a great idea. Unfortunately they did not fit the bottom of the planter. You shouldn’t recommend something that doesn’t fit the product and waste my time and money returning them. So bear in mind if ordering you have to pay for return postage. Otherwise it would have been 5 stars"

Well worth buying!

"Arrived intact l opted for the wheels easier to move around l ordered the grey option it wasn’t entirely coated but soon remedied with a further two coats the liner again good quality all in all I can highly recommend this product Many thanks to you and to the craftsmen/craftswomen who made them"

Great planter, would recommend

"I’ve seen other comments telling how it was difficult to assemble, it was not the most difficult in my opinion, I did it alone and didn’t find it impossible, you will need a mallet; that is not optional! I did not use the screws because the first two I tried rounded off almost immediately. That is my only issue."

Great quality, fast delivery, shame

"Great quality, fast delivery, shame my plants from Gardening Express still haven't turned up to plant in it!"

— Gill E. (5/5)

Excellent quality

"Excellent quality product and delivery very quick so very pleased with the items ordered. Only issues we had were lack of update on the delivery date so found out on the day they were due when we were at work. Also, yes simple to build for your average DIY enthusiast but no build instructions provided k this could be a good idea possibly to help people who might be unsure? Breat product though and look beautiful in our garden."
