Best used with liner

"Looks great, it was quite easy to assemble with the right tools and was an ok price. However the base is very thin and doesn’t fit the frame particularly well as there were big gaps around the edges. If you didn’t have the liner (or use your own) this would be a problem."

Nice Planter and Good service from Woven Wood

"We purchased the Pine Raised Wooden Trough Planter 140 cm and liner and so far we are very happy with it. The planter looks really nice, and the assembly was very easy. We asked for assembly instructions, which were provided promptly and were a great help. The planter was delivered very quickly, it was initially delivered in the wrong colour, but customer service handled the situation very well. They offered either a replacement or discount and we decided to keep the black colour, and it actually looks great. The liner seems to be slightly larger than the planter’s internal volume, but this can be adjusted fairly easily by trimming it if needed. Overall, it seems good quality and we’re pleased with the purchase."

Not great value for money

"Inadequate packaging and contents damaged on delivery. Screws in a very flimsy bag so had split and scratched the planters. Quickly replaced but better packaging could prevent this."

Planter purchase

"Had to chisel away part of the interlocking planter sides for it to fit and be bashed together with a hammer so not ideal. Also the bottom floor of the planter was also damaged and the feet broken off due to poor nailing so have had to take them off and then put them back on correctly."

Nice Palnters but fiddly to assembly

"Nice planters but took a while to assemble (you definately need a mallet) and due to lack of specific instructions, especially around the size of the screws (there are two sizes provided). I tried ringing Customer Services but got no reply but got an instant response via email. So all good in the end."

Good service from Planters. co. uk

"This planter took a little longer than originally anticipated to be delivered (hence 4 stars), but communication of this fact was notified and updated. I ordered a liner to come with the trug which was missing upon eventual delivery, but an email to Hazel (on a Sunday) met with an immediate response and the liner was delivered the following day. Hazel was super efficient and very polite, which is a breath of fresh air in todays times!"

Not impressed and still NOT got my planter

"Still not received it even though you took the money out of my account . . no word from you about when it is being delivered . . so am less than impressed. . I was given the impression it would be delivered at that end of last week. But one week on its still not here and still not heard about when its coming . . all very vague and very annoying"

Not very impressed with this

"Not very impressed with this order. Delivery took several months to arrive. On arrival the general quality of what came was poor, missing parts, and overall quality for price wasn’t acceptable. Requested full refund as the item was no longer in stock and remaining parts could not be sent. Only partially refunded even after all of the issues mentioned. Wouldn’t purchase again and would give advice to anyone planning on purchasing to avoid."

Planter Review

"Bought two planters, a big one and small one. They are both sturdy and easy to construct. It was a bit disappointing that the larger planters bottom wasn’t treated, it was bare wood. We had to give it a couple of preserving coats. All in all though we’re happy with the actual planters. However, delivery was terrible. Think the company had big delivery problems, I was expecting 5 day delivery but delivery took almost a month! There was excellent contact with Planters the company, they were very quick to get back to me and apologised a number of times, so can’t fault that at all."

Gave up after 6 weeks

"I ordered some fertiliser and a large pine planter. The fertiliser arrived quickly but there was no delivery estimate on the planter. After a bit of chasing I got a delivery estimate but this changed twice then all communication stopped. We followed up but were never given a delivery estimate and had a series of quite confusing emails where the planter seemed to be at a warehouse or on its way to the courier - but never actually on its way to us. After 6 weeks with no reliable updates or a delivery estimate we asked for a refund."
